CACNY Services
CACNY offers its members a variety of professional development, networking, and outreach opportunities to help them link students to college and career planning information and resources.
Monthly Meetings
CACNY members are invited to attend monthly meetings. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from September to June and are hosted by different members on a voluntary basis.
These meetings offer members an opportunity to network and learn about college access issues, including admissions trends and financial aid updates. Meetings also offer members an opportunity to network with peers, share information about upcoming events, trainings, conferences, and other professional development opportunities.

Annual Scholarship Competition
Every year, CACNY members nominate seniors from their high schools and community-based organizations to receive the CACNY scholarship awards. The committee must receive a nomination form from a current member and a completed form from the student.
The CACNY Scholarship Committee carefully reviews all applications and selects four students to receive an award. Currently, CACNY awards include a $1,000 scholarship, a $500 scholarship, and two $250 book certificates. Annual dues help to pay for scholarships.
A ceremony is held at the CACNY monthly meeting in May to honor the awardees and their CACNY nominators.
