Even though Advocacy Day is in the rearview, the importance of continued conversation about the state of education in New York remains. There is a new state budget proposal with major implications for education in the state of New York and the specter of radical change in education looms large in the wake of our nation’s new administration.
Brian Culligan will provide an overview of important current issues in education within the state of New York and facilitate a further discussion .
Jason Acosta and Lutful Khan will speak to us about the Foster Care Initiative at CUNY Start.
Stacey Haley will give us a primer on upcoming CACNY elections
Monique Fatherly will provide updates on the CACNY Scholarship.
